Barrington sits on a peninsula between the Barrington and Warren Rivers and the upper reaches of Narragansett Bay. It is almost entirely residential, with tree-lined streets near Barrington Center, waterfront homes on Nayatt and Rumstick Points, and the East Bay Bike Path running through the middle of town. Our North Attleboro office is about half an hour away, and we recently designed a new home here.

Much of Barrington is low-lying and close to the water, so many lots fall within FEMA flood zones, and properties within 200 feet of a coastal feature can need review by the Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC). We plan for flood elevations, foundation types and coastal permitting at the start, so the design works with those rules rather than being reworked to fit them later.
